Our Organization
We are the CSRA's premier limited admission no-kill animal shelter located in Augusta, Georgia. Our Pet Center is located just past Lake Olmstead Stadium, home of the Augusta GreenJackets. We provide care for nearly 200 cats and dogs 365 days a year. Our mission is to find loving permanent homes for pets whose guardians can no longer care for them and to provide education to our community about responsible people-pet relationships and the humane treatment of all animals.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization, designated by the Internal Revenue Service and licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, serving the Greater Central Savannah River Area in East Central Georgia.
We receive no local, state or federal financial support nor any funding from national humane groups. Our non-profit no-kill animal shelter is supported solely by members and donations from the community. All donations go directly towards the care of the animals in our Pet Center.
All donations & memberships are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law as allowed by the IRS.
